My god are any of our politicians NOT hypocrites? What is it about “family values” legislators and their sexual prowess er… meltdowns? Sexual prowess meaning: being unable to keep it in their pants unless at home with their wives. Happens far too often to be just a coinkydink don’t you think? HYPOCRITES.
Tired of people spouting BS about their way being the only “right” way and then not even being able to stick to their own “beliefs.”
But hey YOU must have impeccable morals or you’re evil… I however will do whatever I want to. Hypocrites.
Do as I say and not as I do family values indeed.
Michael Duvall is a conservative Republican state representative from Orange County, California. While waiting for the start of a legislative hearing in July, the 54-year-old married father of two and family values champion began describing, for the benefit of a colleague seated next to him, his ongoing affairs with two different women. In very graphic detail.
The OC Weekly reports that Duvall has “blasted” efforts to promote gay marriage, and got a 100 percent score from the Capitol Resource Institute, which describes its mission as to “educate, advocate, protect, and defend family-friendly policies in the California state legislature”. In March, a spokeswoman for the group called Duvall “a consistent trooper for the conservative causes,” adding that “for the last two years, he has voted time and time again to protect and preserve family values in California.”
I’m beginning to really dislike politicians especially the holier than thou crowd.
Hey Michele Bachmann: Maybe we should do some investigating of the congress for anti-american, anti-family values hypocrites. Hmm?
Every election big or small I vote for the people I dislike less than the other ones… NOT because I actually really like one of them a lot.
I dislike the democrats but I dislike the republicans even more.
We could be a much better country if we only cared.
Yay.
According to the Journal of Couple and Relationship Therapy, approximately 50 percent married women and 60 percent of married men will have an extramarital affair at some time in their marriage. And since it is unlikely that the people having affairs are married to each other in every case, the current statistics on the percentage of married couples who cheat on each other means that someone is having an affair in nearly 80 percent of marriages.
Ouch! I bet only 2% of them admit to it without being caught… or being outed by their own stupidity and arrogance.
The Associated Press analyzed divorce statistics from the US Census Bureau. They found that Massachusetts had the lowest divorce rate in the U.S. at 2.4 per 1,000 population. Texas had the highest rate at 4.1 per 1,000. They found that the highest divorce rates are found in the “Bible Belt.”
You can’t legislate family values folks… or morals… either you have em or you don’t.
AND as we all know talk is cheap. Really, really cheap.
I’m not sure how people sleep at night sometimes.
Betrayal always hurts. Lying is bad. The truth can hurt too, but at least it’s real…
I’ve never held myself up as a model for the way everyone should live and I never will.
Never met a perfect person yet, just a lot who believe they are perfect (and therefore somehow better) than others.
Beginning to wonder if there are very many reasonably honest folk anymore, obviously it’s far easier to be a hypocrite.
G’night
